Role Overview:
As a dedicated Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and independence of children across various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas of need and develop tailored therapy plans.
- Deliver goal-based interventions in clinics, homes, and schools to promote sensory-motor, biomechanical, cognitive/perceptual, and psychosocial development.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, context-sensitive care.
Requirements:
- Possess strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Effective communicator who works collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current registration.
- Committed to delivering evidence-based care.
- Motivated to engage in regular professional supervision and ongoing professional development.
