Paediatric Occupational Therapy Role

We are seeking a skilled paediatric occupational therapist to join our dynamic team. As an occupational therapist in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with children and their families to achieve life-changing outcomes.

This position is ideal for therapists who are passionate about paediatrics and have experience working with children with various disabilities. You will be responsible for assessing and providing intervention for paediatric clients using evidence-based practices.

About the Position:

In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive support to children and their families. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for paediatric clients
  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions to promote functional skills and independence
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Developing and implementing home programs to support client goals

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • 12 months of experience working with paediatric clients
  • Registration with AHPRA or ability to register
  • Driver's license and own vehicle
  • Ability to obtain required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check)
