AusNet Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the Commissioning & Construction team in delivering major projects across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe, timely and efficient delivery of commissioning and construction activities
  • Mentor a diverse team of specialists to develop construction and commissioning management plans
  • Liaise with project managers to optimise delivery efficiency
  • Establish and implement IEAust best practice in engineering principles
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with testing codes and regulations
  • Ensure internal teams are appropriately resourced and report on progress
  • Maintain safety and quality standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role based between Malvern and Southbank, with frequent site visits required. As a key member of the Network Management team, you will be responsible for leading the team culture, strategy, innovation, culture development, capability development and stakeholder management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading Commissioning & Construction of Major Projects within the energy industry
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team that is innovative, flexible and solution-focused
  • Proven ability to negotiate, influence and build stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to mobilise resources to meet objectives and targets
  • Proven Project Management capabilities with large complex programs of work
  • Able to contribute to commercial contract negotiations and procurement or materials and services
  • Committed to safety, risk management and environmental outcomes
