This role involves Strategy Development and Execution, Operations Management, Development, BTR Brand, Financial, Stakeholder Management, ESG, and General responsibilities.

Key qualifications include superior tertiary qualifications in property, finance, business, or a related discipline, minimum 7+ years' experience in the property sector, and sound knowledge of Australian property markets.

Our ideal candidate has strong influencing and negotiation skills, strong quantitative and analytical skills, and superior written and oral communications skills.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development and Execution
    • Work with investment teams to understand asset positions in respective markets and underlying factors.
    • Oversee asset management to position BTR/Residential portfolio strategically and value-add.
    • Prepare annual budgets and report on performance against targets.
    • Become one of the faces of the BTR brand to the BTR market and across relevant Industry bodies.
  • Operations Management
    • Manage contractor performance in accordance with contract, brand, and operational guidelines.
    • Ensure seamless integration of property management and resident engagement technology and systems.
    • Contribute to strategic evaluation of new value add opportunities.
  • Development
    • Work closely with development teams and consultants to contribute to effective delivery of projects and operational plans.
  • BTR Brand
    • Execute BTR Brand Strategy by working closely with marketing teams and outsource providers.
    • Approve annual Resident Engagement Plans for each asset.
  • Financial
    • Oversee annual property budgeting process.
    • Achieve/exceed budgeted financial outcomes for BTR assets.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Maintain and develop external partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • ESG
    • Support and implement ESG requirements for each asset in line with approved ESG Framework.
  • General
    • Meet legal and regulatory obligations of Trustee and Manager of respective Funds and Joint Venture agreements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Superior Tertiary Qualifications: Property, Finance, Business, or a related discipline

Experience: Minimum 7+ years in property sector

Knowledge: Australian property markets, valuation principles and practices

Skills: Influencing, negotiation, quantitative, analytical, written, oral communications
