Job Overview

The Asset Management Specialist will contribute to the effective management and governance of asset data, supporting the overall asset management framework and strategic plans across contracts.

This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, including support services, engineering, Network Operations Control Centre, 3rd party vendors, and management, to ensure that assets are managed accurately and efficiently.

The Asset Management Specialist will be responsible for producing regular asset reports and leading account-mandated audits and contractual reporting obligations.

This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension. The role is based in Melbourne, with some travel required to various sites around Metropolitan Melbourne. Travel expenses will be reimbursed where applicable, and flexibility to work from home is available.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data management and governance to ensure accuracy and detail within the asset database and ITSM systems.
  2. Provision and maintenance of accurate data, as well as building and maintaining reports and procedures to detect and resolve inconsistencies in the asset database.
  3. Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure asset management procedures are followed and refined.
  4. Conducting asset audits through site inspections and ensuring asset management deliverables are fully aligned within the scope of contracts.
Essential Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in asset data management and extraction.
  • Experience in asset management, accurate data entry, data extraction, and data cleansing skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivots, and Power Query).
  • Xtraction queries and dashboards.
Beneficial Qualifications
  • Experience in BMC Remedy.
  • Specific experience in radio, console, and network infrastructure asset management.
