This Asset Manager position offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading global financial services firm, delivering innovative solutions and access to differentiated opportunities across public and private capital markets.
You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Residential Manager in delivering outstanding investment returns within established objectives and constraints. This will involve managing local relationships, overseeing property management, and strategically adding value to assigned properties.
A key objective of this position is to foster strong teamwork both internally and externally, establishing a stronger link with the market and external parties to achieve better investment outcomes.
This role will also be involved in the broader aspects of the real estate business, including analysis and review of investment opportunities.
The successful candidate will have superior tertiary qualifications in property, finance, business, or a related discipline, along with minimum 7+ years' experience in the property sector in an asset management or investment role within the residential/BTR asset class.
They will possess sound knowledge of Australian property markets, strong knowledge of valuation principles and practices applicable to residential/BTR property sectors, and excellent people and relationship management skills.
The ideal candidate will also have strong influencing and negotiation skills, strong quantitative and analytical skills, superior written and oral communications skills, and strong financial modelling skills.
This role requires flexibility and adaptability to change, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with development teams, external consultants, and other stakeholders to deliver projects and operational plans effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
