**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Assurance Specialist to join our team on a 12-month assignment. The role will be Monday to Friday, working 37.5 hours per week.

This position is responsible for undertaking control and conformance testing of the department's payment programs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking reviews of targeted claims through engagement with providers, plan managers, and participants;
  • Providing input to assurance and compliance reports;
  • Designing new detective and preventative controls using manual validation checks and systematic analytics;

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience within a similar role;
  • The ability to work autonomously, exercising strong initiative and judgment to interpret legislation and policy;
  • Sound communication skills during peak business demand across various stakeholders;
  • The ability to establish and maintain internal and external relationships;
