The Audit and Compliance Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the MR5 Contract Management team, facilitating effective oversight of the MR5 Tram Franchise Agreement through auditing, compliance, and reporting activities.

This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the development, planning, and delivery of the MR5 contract management audit program and framework. Audits will be conducted using a risk-based approach to provide assurance that the Tram Operator meets contractual obligations.

The successful candidate will contribute to audit reports with well-articulated and evidence-based findings, driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and overseeing risk-based audit and compliance programs
  • Preparing audit scopes, briefs, and related audit and compliance activities within broad parameters, aligning with the MR5 contract requirements
  • Undertaking complex or technical investigations and making recommendations for action based on findings around contractor compliance
  • Drafting reports, briefs, and correspondence on complex issues by monitoring, interpreting, and analyzing compliance data
  • Interpreting and applying contract terms and related plans and policies, conveying specialist concepts and policies to internal and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or related experience in auditing, contract management, and/or assurance
  • Competency in reporting, data analysis, and presentation
  • A sound understanding and application of advanced analytical tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Excel
  • A strong working knowledge of electronic document record management systems including Content Manager, Outlook, TRIM, Affinitext, and Lotus Notes
