Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Safety and Environmental Advisor to provide high-level support to our Project Manager and guide the day-to-day activities of HSE and Training advisors on site.
Key Responsibilities:- Possess 10 years' experience in senior safety roles – ideally in a civil construction environment.
- Have an Advanced Diploma OHS, desired along with relevant additional qualifications.
- Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Environment matters to the Project Manager and the Project Team.
- Coordinate site-based occupational health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the competence and well-being of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials.
- Ensure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems and that these are complied with.
- Conduct safety investigations, prepare reports and recommendations, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections.
- A very competitive salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
