We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Workforce Partner to join our team at the University of Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a historic project that will shape the future of higher education in Australia.

About the Role

As a Strategic Workforce Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting both academic and professional units across the university as they transition to the new Adelaide University structure. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and collaborative transition process that supports employee engagement and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance to leaders and staff on aligning teams with the new workforce structure, ensuring a people-centred approach throughout the transformation journey.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships across departments, ensuring clear and consistent communication and support throughout the transition.
  • Develop organisational charts that reflect the new structure with clarity and alignment to strategic goals, incorporating workforce modelling and team design principles.
  • Oversee the development and evaluation of position descriptions, coordinate remuneration adjustments, and manage employment contracts for transitioning staff.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, Workforce Planning, or a similar field.
  • Experience in supporting workforce transitions and organisational change, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and use data effectively.
  • High-level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including negotiation skills, and the ability to relate to a broad cross-section of people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships, with highly developed organisational and project management skills.
What We Offer

This is a competitive salary position, offering a generous compensation package, including a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
