Job Title: Human Resources Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our highly engaged and productive team.

About the Role:

In this role, you will provide responsive and specialized HR advice and support to people leaders and staff on government sector legislation, policies, and procedures. You will build and manage effective relationships with people leaders to assist in managing performance, change management, employee relations, workforce planning, and development of team capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and support to people leaders and staff on government sector legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and manage effective relationships with people leaders to assist in managing performance, change management, employee relations, workforce planning, and development of team capability.
  • Collaborate on the development of employee engagement and retention programs, incorporating effective culture and communication strategies, leadership, and team development.
  • Contribute to people management processes and strategies ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements.
  • Undertake job analysis and design, organization reviews, and change management programs.
  • Review, develop, and implement policies and procedures to support the delivery of HR initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Business, or equivalent experience is required.
