Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional clinician to join our team as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care while shaping the future of maternity services in the region.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Aboriginal consumers and communities, and a passion for delivering culturally responsive care. You will be responsible for delivering expert clinical care in antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and neonatal settings, including participation in the primary on-call roster.

You will also perform and assist in major and minor gynaecological procedures, ensuring safe, high-quality surgical outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Expert Clinical Care: Providing high-quality care to patients in antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and neonatal settings.
  • Performing and Assisting Procedures: Participating in major and minor gynaecological procedures, ensuring safe and effective outcomes.
  • Leadership and Quality Assurance: Providing leadership in quality assurance and clinical governance within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology service.
  • Supervising and Mentoring: Supervising, mentoring, and teaching junior doctors, GP registrars, and medical students.
