">Job Opportunity:

Melton City Libraries is seeking two creative and enthusiastic program facilitators to develop, deliver, and evaluate an innovative range of early and school years programs, activities, and initiatives for children 0-12 years and their carers across the library service.

About the Role:

We are looking for individuals who can provide leadership to staff in delivering high-quality customer service across the library service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective relationships and partnerships with education institutions and community providers.
  • Utilise community development principles to develop program plans and proposals that align with established library priorities.
  • Facilitate and deliver literacy and learning programs for children aged 0-12 years.
  • Contribute to team planning, development activities, and issue/task-oriented working groups.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Education or Community Development, together with relevant experience in public libraries and children's program delivery.
  • Experience in program development and delivery for children and their parents/carers.
  • A passion for storytelling and community engagement, with a customer-centric approach to work.
