Business Partner and Contract Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Business Partner and Contract Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for shaping and advising on supplier agreements across IT and Indirect spend.

The ideal candidate will ensure that contracts are commercially sound, compliant with policies, and aligned with strategic priorities. They will also drive continuous improvement in governance frameworks and contribute to wider procurement transformation initiatives.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure commercial soundness, risk mitigation, and compliance with policies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to manage contractual risks, support governance, and provide post-execution oversight including disputes and supplier offboarding.
  • Drive governance and process improvement by enhancing contracting frameworks, templates, and workflows while ensuring effective performance and risk management.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Business Units to align contract terms with business needs and supplier risk management.
  • Educate stakeholders and mentor team members to strengthen commercial, contractual, and performance management capabilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in contract/vendor management, strategic planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Degree in business or commercial discipline, with strong commercial acumen.
  • Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Background in telecommunications desirable and experience leading/coaching contract management professionals.
