
Surgical Care Professional

This permanent part-time role is for a Registered Nurse in the General Surgery unit.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during various surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide pre and post-operative care, patient assessments, wound care, medication administration, and support recovery and discharge planning.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the relevant health authority.
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse, including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered nurse.
- Able to provide person-centred, family inclusive, and culturally sensitive nursing care.
