Surgical Nursing Position Available

We are seeking an experienced Nurse to join our General Surgery unit at Nepean Hospital. This is a Permanent Part Time position that requires the successful candidate to work 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities- The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and be able to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- They must work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide pre and post-operative care, patient assessments, wound care, medication administration and supporting recovery and discharge planning.
- A current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse.
- Able to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
