Role OverviewThis role involves assisting surgeons in theatre across hospitals in Tamworth and regional NSW as they perform instrument and robotic-assisted surgical procedures, promoting Zimmer Biomet e2 s range of products, including integrated digital platforms such as mymobility.
Mymobility is a digital platform used to inform care decisions and create a new level of connection between patients and their surgeons.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in instrument and robotic-assisted surgical procedures, ensuring effective use of Zimmer Biomet e2 s products
- Manage surgical equipment requirements for each case, promoting utilisation of ROSA and mymobility
- Digital Platforms: Utilise mymobility to enhance patient-surgeon communication and care decisions
- Keep up-to-date with new surgical techniques and provide in-service training around Zimmer Biomet technologies and implant portfolio
- Collaborate and provide training and support to hospital staff on the ROSA surgical robot and the full suite of Zimmer Biomet technologies and portfolio
- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Nursing, Paramedicine or Sports/Exercise Science
- Minimum 4 years of industry experience
- A passion for health, the human body and advancing technologies to improve patient lives
- Curiosity and innovativeness: Strong desire to explore new ideas and drive advancements in the field
- Technological proficiency and a natural ability to handle and understand advanced medical technology
