We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT System Administrator to join our team at Appian. As a key member of our Business Technology team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our global employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to Appian's global employees through Service Desk cases, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of issues.
  • Develop and implement solutions to enhance productivity within Appian, leveraging relevant tools and technologies.
  • Manage end-user hardware and software inventory throughout its lifecycle, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and disposal procedures.
  • Exhibit an interest in emerging technologies, with basic understanding of cloud computing.
  • Perform a variety of basic user-problem analyses for the customer Service Desk; assists with monitoring the application systems and ensures a prompt and appropriate response to customer requests and issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and talent for identifying creative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills (verbal/written).
  • Competency in administering desktop operating systems.
  • Ability to work nights or weekends, as needed, to perform regular onsite maintenance or on-call duties.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Experience with cloud computing, or Appian product is a plus.
