The role involves being a servant leader of agile teams, facilitating team events and processes which deliver value, coaching teams in self-organisation and building high performing teams through relentless improvement.

You will be accountable for:

  • Working closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Team, focusing the team on what is needed to deliver business outcomes that is the best value approach and in alignment with defined outcomes / objectives of the sprint and program increment.
  • Ensuring alignment of squad outcomes to Initiative, Project or Programs of work across the organization.
  • Effectively leading and managing Agile ceremonies (e.g., program increment/sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retro, backlog refinement), discussion, decision making and conflict resolution).
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments to deliver solutions.
  • Supporting the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example, personifying Agile and Scrum.
  • Guiding and coaching the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices.

About You

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Agile leadership experience, delivering with teams of 8-12 people in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, problem solving, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead teams building a 'can do', outcome-based culture.
  • Previous experience in the use of Azure Dev Ops, Confluence and for backlog and document management and reporting, Ms Teams.
  • Working knowledge of SAFe (e.g. PI planning), DevOps and SDLC.
  • Proven ability to work with people less familiar with Agile methods and mentoring and coaching them as required.
