The role of Environmental Consultant involves working with a leading consultancy to deliver high-quality outcomes across diverse industries nationwide.

This includes complex environmental and hazardous materials projects, where you will be the go-to consultant for site investigations, remediation, and risk assessments.

You will also supervise asbestos removal and remediation works, prepare technical reports, scopes of work, and expert recommendations, and manage relationships with clients.

As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to business development and mentor junior consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contaminated land: Site investigations, remediation, and risk assessments.
  • Hazardous materials: Asbestos surveys, management plans, monitoring, and clearance inspections.
  • On-site leadership: Supervising asbestos removal and remediation works.
  • Reporting & advice: Preparing technical reports, scopes of work, and expert recommendations.
  • Client engagement: Managing relationships and ensuring projects run to scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Growth focus: Contributing to business development and mentoring junior consultants.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years' consulting experience in environmental or hazardous materials.
  • Solid knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills for clients, reports, and team collaboration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, business development, and team support.
