About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our team as a Principal Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and driving the business in Newcastle.
The role will involve providing strategic advice on environmental impact assessment and management, developing effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, and working closely with the team lead to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert advice on best practice environmental impact assessment and management principles
- Assisting in the development and implementation of business plans and strategies
- Developing and enhancing effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Working closely with the team lead to drive growth
- Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across various sectors
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 12 years' experience in environmental impact assessment, post-approvals management, and environmental auditing
- Ability to win work through business development and demonstrated client management expertise
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation and policies
