Environmental Professional Role

This position is responsible for delivering expert environmental and hazardous materials consulting services to a variety of clients across the Australian market.

As a senior consultant, you will be in charge of overseeing complex projects that include contaminated land remediation, hazardous materials management, and site leadership. You will conduct thorough site investigations, develop remediation plans, and supervise asbestos removal and remediation activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Contaminated Land: Conduct site assessments, develop remediation strategies, and oversee risk assessments.
  • Hazardous Materials: Perform asbestos surveys, manage control plans, monitor, and clearance inspections.
  • On-Site Leadership: Supervise asbestos removal and remediation works.
  • Reporting & Advice: Prepare technical reports, scopes of work, and expert recommendations.
  • Client Engagement: Manage relationships and ensure projects run within scope, timeline, and budget.

To be successful in this role, you must have relevant qualifications and experience in environmental science or a related field. Additionally, you should hold a current Asbestos Assessor's Licence (NSW) and have 3–5+ years' experience working with environmental or hazardous materials.

Requirements
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Current Asbestos Assessor's Licence (NSW).
  • 3-5+ years consulting experience in environmental or hazardous materials.
  • Solid knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills for client liaison, reports, and team collaboration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, business development, and team support.
  • Current Australian driver's licence.
