About the Role

As an Operational Lifecycle Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our training team in simulation and dataset adaptation. Your key duties will include managing TopSky-NG adaptation datasets, supervising CMATS training and simulation activities, operating Pseudo Pilot functions, analyzing training requirements, and developing training materials.

This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of our ATC simulation training solution. If you have experience configuring Air Traffic Management systems and working with simulation datasets, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dataset Management: Manage TopSky-NG adaptation datasets for ATC and simulation, including Voice Control System datasets.
  • Simulation Supervision: Supervise and control CMATS training and simulation activities, including session planning and configuration.
  • Pseudo Pilot Operations: Operate Pseudo Pilot functions to support simulation training.
  • Training Development: Analyze training requirements, design management plans, and develop training materials during analysis and design phases.
  • Courseware Development: Develop CMATS training courseware, assist in dataset and scenario development, and facilitate training at the Thales Customer Training Area during development.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver training, maintain materials, and evaluate training effectiveness during implementation.
Requirements on Day One
  • Australian Citizenship for Security Clearance
  • Experience Configuring Air Traffic Management Systems and Working with Simulation Datasets
  • Knowledge of ATM Simulator Platforms, Troubleshooting, and Resolving Simulator Issues
  • Intermediate MS Office Skills, Especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience Developing Aviation Simulation Exercises for Training Environments
