Occupational Therapist/Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Early Start Australia in Launceston.
About the Role:As a Clinical Development Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop and extend your clinical practice in a supportive environment. You will work closely with key stakeholders to provide information, education, and support, and contribute to the development of clinic resources.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine based general developmental assessments and standardised clinical assessments, developing and implementing tailored therapy programs, and providing direct and indirect therapy interventions. They will also provide supervision to junior team members, run group supervision meetings, and assist staff with time management and organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine based general developmental assessments and standardised clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need
- Develop and implement tailored therapy programs to meet individual client needs
- Provide direct and indirect therapy interventions to clients and families
- Work closely with key stakeholders to provide information, education, and support
- Provide supervision to junior team members and contribute to their professional development
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work effectively in a culturally rich and diverse environment
- A passion for working with clients to achieve their own goals, potential, and participation in their community
Early Start Australia offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $85,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
