The Faculty of Health seeks an emerging academic with a passion for teaching and learning to join the School of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences as a Lecturer in Nutrition.
This is an education-focused role that will involve leading unit teaching teams, designing and conducting scholarship activities, and promoting the School through community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead unit teaching teams to develop effective curricula and learning resources.
- Develop assessment tasks and rubrics, providing clear feedback to learners.
- Provide academic support to students and guide them to appropriate services.
- Contribute to educational excellence, engage collaboratively with peers, and build teaching capability.
- Apply industry practice into student learning experiences.
- Manage a student training clinic and provide dietetic counselling.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and learning.
- Ability to deliver effective teaching practices.
- PhD in a relevant discipline or other qualifications and experience.
- Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching.
- Current or recent experience in leadership or supervision in dietetic practice.
- Scholarship activity in nutrition and dietetics.
