Job Opportunity: Nutrition Specialist

Monash Health Community NDIS program is seeking a skilled and dedicated nutrition specialist to deliver high-quality services and support individuals under the age of 18 years in achieving their goals.

We are looking for a professional who can provide dietetic supports to participants, enabling them to build independence, skills, and community participation. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with participants and their families to ensure the implementation of plans aligns with their objectives and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dietetic supports to enhance participant independence, skills, and community engagement
  • Ensure plan implementation aligns with participant goals, objectives, and aspirations
  • Collaborate with participants and their families to achieve desired outcomes

Essential Requirements:

  • Approved undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification followed by postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Membership to Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)
  • Demonstrated experience working with infants, young children, teenagers, and their families, including those with feeding difficulties and restricted diets
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities and understanding of how disability impacts life in the community
