Job Title: Senior Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Development Manager to lead our national development initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will have full ownership of the project lifecycle from acquisition and due diligence through feasibility, planning, design, and construction delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end development across multiple projects (commercial, retail, and mixed-use), delivering from acquisition through feasibility, planning, design, approvals, procurement, and construction.
  • Oversee consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes while maintaining governance and high quality.
  • Shape front-end development, optimize design, and financial performance, and apply innovative thinking to navigate project complexities.
  • Travel interstate as required to support delivery across sites; mentor junior staff and collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams.
What You'll Bring
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management or Property Development; at least five years' experience delivering complex built-form projects.
  • Deep understanding of delivery processes from feasibility through to completion; advanced knowledge of planning, design, tendering, and construction.
  • Proven experience with contracts and major negotiations; strong financial acumen and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project; ability to build financial models and perform sensitivity analyses.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills; resilient, proactive, and solutions-oriented; capable of working independently in a small, collaborative team with multiple projects and travel as required.
