As a Learning and Development Professional, you will be instrumental in enhancing the talent and capabilities within a vibrant local government team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for developing engaging learning experiences and a focus on risk management and compliance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of organisational needs to identify and agree on learning interventions.
- Design and develop effective training courses and L&D programs utilising adult learning methodologies.
- Deliver training programs effectively, ensuring high levels of learner engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Provide specialist learning advice, managing workstreams or small projects within transformational change programs.
- Maintain and review current learning materials and processes, ensuring they meet the organisation's standards and goals.
About You:
- Bachelor's Degree in Training, Education, Human Resources, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in a consultant/business advisory capacity, with a focus on learning and development.
- Proven ability to design and implement contemporary learning and development programs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent time management, organisation skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including group facilitation.
- Experience in managing resources to deliver objectives as specified by senior management.
