National Disability Inclusion Program Manager

Job Role
The National Disability Inclusion Participation Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Australian football participation programs are inclusive, accessible and delivered within safe environments.
- Provide leadership, strategic direction, development and formal reviews of initiatives to make Australian football more inclusive and accessible for people with disability – driving participation growth.
- Support participation and program workforce around the country with development and implementation of effective strategies to engage and connect with people with disability; including delivery of programs, competitions and development pathways.
- Build relationships and partnerships with relevant stakeholders and communities to support program and initiative delivery.
- Oversee and/or support delivery of national and state disability inclusion competitions and events.
- Develop plans to build capability of staff to deliver programs for people with disability.
About You
- Strong knowledge, experience and understanding of types of disabilities.
- Experience in working with people with disability (5+ years), including ability to develop and modify sport to remove barriers to participation for people with disability and an understanding of classification systems.
- Demonstrated experience in partnering with and influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and relationship management across a geographically diverse team.
- Able to innovate, challenge convention and manage change.
- Event management skills.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
