About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Koala.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

As a Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance frameworks across different markets, defining test standards, and conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with designers, engineers, and suppliers to identify and mitigate risks associated with product design and manufacturing.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining testing equipment, applying for product certifications, and communicating compliance updates to internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance and compliance role, preferably with demonstrable experience in furniture materials
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of legal compliance requirements on furniture in different markets
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to read and interpret technical documents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
