Global Program Operations and Transformation Leader

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction and operational excellence of commercially vital global programs.

As the Global Program Operations and Transformation Chief, you will drive the future of Ford's iconic T6 programs (Ranger and Everest) from our International Market Groups Product Development hub in Broadmeadows, Australia.

You will inspire and lead the dedicated Core Programs Team across the IMG region, forging powerful partnerships to revolutionize operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global Program Operations & Transformation:
    • Lead the development and execution of innovative tools and processes, including unique solutions for the T6 program and contributing to global development initiatives.
    • Drive the transformation of how programs are tracked and delivered, including the strategic deployment of AI technologies.
  • Strategic Business & Program Management:
    • Lead the operational governance and efficiency transformation for the T6 Hub, ensuring streamlined processes.
    • Establish, track, and report on key Program Management Metrics to monitor program performance against corporate targets, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Financial & Resource Stewardship:
    • Drive business operations and vehicle line strategies, including new business development.
    • Manage T6 Lifecycle Gross Margin and Total Cost, analyzing performance by carline, region, and plant.
  • Cross-Vehicle Strategy & Innovation:
    • Champion complexity reduction across markets and programs, from upfront program setting to waste management in production.
    • Lead the strategy and implementation of cross-carline technologies.
About You:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.

A Master's degree is highly preferred.

Must be a Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria or demonstrate a clear willingness and eligibility to obtain RPEV registration within a specified timeframe.

Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles within global product development, program management, or business operations, preferably within the automotive or a related complex manufacturing industry.
