Lead Student Services Team

Overview

Our ideal candidate will lead a team of professionals to deliver exceptional student experiences and operational excellence. In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders to drive initiatives that enhance student journeys from retention through to graduation and articulation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead administration staff to provide high-quality services to students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee student services functions including orientation, enrolment, counselling support, and the management of appeals and complaints.
  • Champion student retention and transition initiatives to ensure smooth pathways for students.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to manage timetabling, subject selection, attendance monitoring, and articulation processes.
  • Maintain compliance and regulatory standards contributing to policy development and accurate reporting.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in management and team leadership.
  • 1-2 years experience in a student services role working with international students.
  • Strong understanding of education sector legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff.
