Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as showering, grooming and mobility support
  • Carrying out general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, laundry and tidying
  • Preparing light meals and supporting safe food storage
  • Maintaining hygiene in kitchens, bathrooms and shared spaces
  • Providing social support or transport to appointments and community activities
  • Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any concerns
  • Supporting each client in line with their individual preferences, cultural background and values
  • Helping ensure the home environment is clean, safe and comfortable

Successful candidates will possess a caring and empathetic nature, a genuine commitment to building respectful relationships with clients and their families, excellent organisational skills, a focus on creating safe, clean and supportive environments, a strong understanding of person-centred and community-based care, a commitment to delivering high-quality support and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
