Key Responsibilities

Personal Care Tasks:

  • Assisting with showering, grooming, and mobility support
  • Providing assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting

General Household Duties:

  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, bathroom, and living areas
  • Performing light meal preparation and safe food storage

Companionship and Transport:

  • Providing social support and companionship to clients
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and community activities

Maintaining Client Wellbeing:

  • Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any concerns
  • Supporting each client in line with their individual preferences, cultural background, and values

Requirements:

  • Nationally recognised Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification)
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle with insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Working with Children Check (Employee) and National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with organisational policy
  • Full Australian working rights
