About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Domestic Payments Technology team. As the Head of Domestic Payments Technology, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our payments technology and ensuring the successful delivery of our Domestic Payments program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Domestic Payments Technology team to deliver high-quality technology solutions that meet customer and industry expectations.
  • Develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with Westpac's overall business strategy and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of the Domestic Payments program.
  • Manage and oversee all IT delivery activities related to Domestic Payments.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver the program.
What You'll Need
  • 15+ years of experience in technology management, preferably in financial services and/or payments.
  • 10+ years of experience managing large and complex projects across various business areas.
  • 10+ years of experience in people management and leadership within large and complex financial services organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to senior GM and Executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills to bring together diverse stakeholders to align and make decisions on complex issues.
