Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Community Liaison Manager to support community engagement programs and manage internal and external communications for a high-voltage electricity transmission project in regional NSW.

The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to identify and anticipate community concerns, facilitating their priorities and requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement regular stakeholder contacts and liaison meetings, building trust and confidence among local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with stakeholders and address their concerns.
  • Design and implement a user-friendly complaints handling procedure, monitoring progress and outcomes.
  • Understand and implement contractual requirements related to community and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience on large infrastructure projects in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills for various audiences.
  • Organisation and time management skills, with problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
  • A current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and medical assessment required.
