Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Community Engagement Manager to join the HumeLink West project team.

The position will support the community engagement programs in the project area and is responsible for managing internal and external communications for the project.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time opportunity based in the Batlow (Snowy Valleys) area, with relocation or FIFO considered for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regular stakeholder contacts and liaison meetings to build trust and credibility.
  • Develop and implement a systematic complaints handling procedure.
  • Understand and implement contractual requirements relating to the community and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Previous experience on large infrastructure projects in a similar role.
  • Good communication skills including dealing with members of the public.
  • Good writing skills with the ability to prepare a wide range of communication materials.
  • Developed organisation and time management skills.
  • Effective problem solving and conflict management abilities.
  • A team player with a positive approach to working with people.
