Key Responsibilities

Optimize investment and asset-liability management practices to inform strategic business decisions.

Role Highlights
  • Develop and maintain our primary risk platform, ensuring seamless integration with internal systems.
  • Maintain a high standard of internal investment risk and ALM models, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability.
  • Evaluate existing and proposed ALM systems, documents, and activities for capital implications and effectiveness.
  • Enhance the investment risk management system, including oversight of portfolio exposures and compliance with mandate limits and regulations.
  • Generate and report various risk metrics for executive forums and reports.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Actuarial studies, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in an investment risk-related position, preferably within the Finance, Investments, or Life Insurance sectors.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of life insurance regulatory capital standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts effectively.
  • Strong initiative to develop new processes and resolve complex issues.
