Event Operations Specialist Job Description

As an Event Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of large-scale outdoor music events. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for all event staff, ensuring that everyone is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and implement effective strategies for recruiting and onboarding event staff, including creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and providing comprehensive training.
  • Oversight of Safety Inductions: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver engaging online safety inductions that cater to the diverse needs of event staff and volunteers.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Lead and coordinate casual staff and volunteers to ensure seamless execution of event operations, including setup, logistics, and contingency planning.
  • Infrastructure Management: Liaise with festival partners to guarantee that all infrastructure requirements are met, ensuring a high-quality experience for attendees.
