Job Title

Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 Cardiac Rehabilitation

This role offers an opportunity to provide senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit team or service.

The successful candidate will require advanced clinical skills exercising extended autonomy of decision making working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.

  • Current registration with relevant authorities as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with postregistration qualifications and at least 3 years experience in the clinical area of their postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
  • Ability to prioritise and problem solve to manage complex clinical care needs through the development and use of clinical management plans.

The CNS will provide support through rehabilitation education sessions at RPA Hospital working closely alongside other healthcare professionals.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with advanced interpersonal and problem-solving skills required for this role.
