Job Title: Oncology Nurse Unit Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oncology Nurse Unit Manager to lead our nursing team at our Frenchs Forest clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing the clinical and non-clinical aspects of the nursing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team to meet the needs of GenesisCare's strategy, vision, and values.
  • Manage the nursing team to achieve excellent patient outcomes, ensuring that all aspects of legislation are addressed.
  • Develop and implement effective workforce management strategies to optimize resource allocation and ensure a positive engaged workforce.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Registration as a Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Clinical experience as a nurse – 5 years nursing with at least 3 years Medical Oncology experience.
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge and the ability to apply relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.
