About the Department

The Department of Molecular Imaging and Therapy is one of the largest academic departments in Australia, with comprehensive clinical service activities and an internationally recognized research program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the weekly production and quality control of solid target produced radionuclides.
  • Communicate with customers regarding their orders and delivery times.
  • Correctly package radionuclides for transportation to customer sites.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and repair of automated radiolabeling and analytical equipment.
  • Operate, troubleshoot and maintain cyclotrons.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in science (applied chemistry or physics), biomedical engineering or relevant field.
  • Interest in engineering and electronics.
  • Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge & skills on medium and high complexity equipment and tasks.
  • Experience with scientific and analytical laboratory instrumentation.
