Position Summary:

We are seeking a Data Manager to join our team at Gippsland Radiation Oncology. This is a full-time fixed term position, providing long service leave cover.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining departmental databases for all patients attending the department, as well as assisting in related research projects.

This role requires competence in computer systems, excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Previous experience in a health care and/or medical research environment would be highly regarded and previous oncology experience would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain departmental databases for all patients
  • Assist in related research projects
  • Provide data analysis and reporting services

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health, Science, Health Information Management or a related paramedical discipline
  • Previous experience in data management or clinical trials
  • Skilled in hospital based or similar computer systems
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access databases
