Key Role in Patient Experience:
Patient Liaison Officers play a pivotal role in enhancing the patient experience by serving as a central point of contact for patients, families, and staff.
- Assist in resolving concerns and supporting consumer feedback
- Facilitate access to services across hospital departments
- Guide patients and families through the hospital system and ensure their voices are heard
- Support clinical staff by identifying and reporting service challenges, assisting with care coordination, and working collaboratively to uphold person-centred care principles
About You:
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage sensitive conversations, patient concerns, and complex emotional situations with professionalism
- Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a healthcare setting
- Highly developed interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
