Logistics Role

This position involves managing logistics operations and working as a key team member. As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of logistics principles and practices
  • Preparing weekly reports with accurate data
  • Responding to delivery status enquiries and building rapport with clients
  • Maintaining inward and outward goods movements
  • Accurate data entry and management within the company's systems
  • Forecasting delivery targets and ensuring the team meets them
  • Representing the company in the best light and training staff
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the company's capabilities
  • Ensuring adherence to all systems, protocols, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in logistics administration
  • Strong computer skills
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Previous experience in operations and logistics is beneficial

Additional Information:

This role requires knowledge of sales at a commercial level. Understanding of the office furniture industry is preferred but not essential.
