Early Intervention Specialist
">We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Early Intervention Specialist.
">The successful candidate will work with newly arrived young people and their families, providing individual and family support and case management to stabilise living situations and improve a young person's connection with culture, family and community life.
">This is a part-time role (0.6 FTE) with a maximum term of 30 June 2026. We are flexible on days, except for Tuesday, when we all get together in the office.
">In this role, you will use your community connections to undertake outreach and group work, facilitate referrals to specialist services, and advocate for participants, making a tangible impact on their journey toward stability and opportunity.
">You will also be responsible for:

- Conducting strength-based assessments and developing intervention plans;">
- Delivering effective case management for young people and families;">
- Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support;">
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress.">
To be successful in this role, you will require:
">A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, or a related discipline;
">Demonstrated skills and experience in working with disempowered and vulnerable people;
">Ability to conduct strength-based assessments, develop intervention plans, and deliver effective case management;
">Proven skills in delivering community outreach and group work;
">A current Working with Children Check and Drivers Licence valid in Victoria.
