The Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a CDC Ambassador at our Footscray store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accepting donations, greeting donors, handling donations with care, and educating them about the work of our not-for-profit partners.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and thank donors for their contributions
  • Handle donations with respect and care
  • Educate donors and customers on the work of our not-for-profit partners
  • Promote our purpose to Champion Reuse
  • Work collaboratively with your team to meet daily targets
  • Support our safety culture

You

To be successful in this role, you will have a mix of the following:

  • Availability for part-time hours (Monday to Sunday, 9am-9pm)
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment (retail, production, warehousing, or hospitality)
  • A passion for making an impact on your team and community
  • Customer focus with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • A strong sense of integrity and doing the right thing

About the Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $25.00 per hour, quarterly bonuses, discounts across various retailers, travel, and attractions. Our team is a great place to grow, with training, career development opportunities, and a fun, dynamic work environment.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year (based on 20 hours/week, $25/hour)
