Job Description:

The role of VDI System Administrator involves designing, testing, and deploying new versions of the Windows operating system, building and maintaining system images, and providing integration for VMware and Citrix VDI Platforms. This position requires a high level of technical expertise in administering Omnissa (VMware EUC) and Citrix Cloud technologies.

Responsibilities include integrating and supporting management of security software and configurations, providing and developing VM image and template automation, implementing VDI performance monitoring and tool tuning for a dynamic network environment, and developing and operating a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience and qualifications in administering Omnissa (VMware EUC) and Citrix Cloud technologies.
  • Deployment and imaging technology troubleshooting.
  • Desirable - Demonstrated experience and qualifications in Microsoft server and desktop technologies (including Exchange, WSUS, MECM).
  • Desirable - Experience in Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
