About the Role

The Head of Organisational Development (OD) will be responsible for driving strategic improvements to people, systems, and processes at ANSTO. Reporting to the Director People, Strategy & Performance, this role will lead a small team in delivering proactive OD initiatives aligned with ANSTO's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will provide thought leadership on people, culture, and organisation dynamics, working closely with key stakeholders to drive organisational growth and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute OD strategies to drive organisational growth and effectiveness.
  • Lead cultural transformation initiatives to foster a collaborative, innovative, and continuously improving work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure OD initiatives are aligned, innovative, and support continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement ANSTO's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategy.
  • Facilitate employee engagement and experience programs, including surveys and assessments.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure consistent and timely roll-out of OD initiatives.
  • Lead proactive strategies to ensure ANSTO has an effective psychosocial risk management process.
About You

We are seeking an experienced OD professional with a track record of driving internal capability, leadership development, employee experience, and diversity and inclusion. The successful candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker with excellent planning, organisational, and project management skills. A strong communicator, you will have the ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders and demonstrate experience working cross-functionally with human resource teams.
