Our organization is seeking a Community and Stakeholder Manager to play a pivotal role in managing development activities for our portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage development activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead community and stakeholder engagement to support renewable energy project development and delivery.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to deliver results as part of a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Direct experience with project development, utilities, energy or infrastructure businesses performing community and stakeholder roles.
  • Experience building relationships with communities, stakeholders, and first nations communities in collaboration with development and construction teams.
  • Ability to drive, develop, and implement engagement strategies and social action plans for key stakeholders and communities.
  • Expertise leading stakeholder engagement, including meetings programs, responding to consultations, stakeholder mapping, and community events.
  • Experience coaching and supporting development and delivery teams in engaging communities and stakeholders.
  • Five to seven years hands-on experience in onshore utility scale renewable energy project development in Australia.
  • Demonstrated track record influencing effective community engagement program design and delivery with development partners.
  • Experience monitoring and evaluating community and stakeholder engagement across a portfolio of projects to support effective engagement execution.
  • Experience developing project communications collateral and information in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of sustainability reporting requirements such as GRESB and SFDR Article 9.
  • Ability to drive relevant ESG strategies at the project level.
  • Proven ability to lead the implementation and champion the use of systems and processes to produce stakeholder insights for each project and across the business.
  • Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an environmental, engineering, planning, or science-based subject with excellent project management skills.
